¿Qué he visto en Netflix? Collateral

OPINIÓN

Entre el sábado y el domingo terminé de ver la miniserie Collateral, que tiene en pantalla Netflix, y me produjo una grata impresión, porque es una serie que trata un tema tan candente como es la inmigración y las mafias del tráfico de personas. 
Como digo me gustó la trama principal, que arranca con la muerte de un repartidor de pizzas de raza árabe. A partir de ahí la trama va avanzando, capítulo tras capítulo, con un ritmo aceptable, hasta que, en el capítulo tercero, (la miniserie cuenta con cuatro capítulos), la serie se ralentiza, como si necesitara coger un poco de aire para seguir avanzando.

En cada capítulo se van desatando los nudos que plantea la miniserie, el de la trama principal y el de las subtramas. Decir que las subtramas están relacionadas con la trama principal, pero ligadas con papel de fumar, que si las quitaran, en mi opinión, la cinta funcionaría de igual manera. Sin embargo, si las quitamos, la miniserie se hubiera quedado en una película clásica. Quizás sea esta la parte, la de las subtramas, la más endeble de la miniserie, porque, de resto, es suficiente para pasar una tarde de domingo.

What have I seen on Netflix? Mowgli. The legend of the jungle

OPINION

Last month I saw Mowgli, The Legend of the Jungle, a film produced by Warner Bros. Pictures, but which Netflix bought from him the global distribution rights and released on December 7.

This version surprised me a lot and I liked it a lot, because it is far from the original that Walt Disney premiered in 1967 and which presents us with a rather crude and real story of Mowgli's life. A Mowgli who has to survive in a jungle full of friends, but also enemies who want to kill him, because some see him as an intruder and want him out of the pack.

In the film, in general, the main plot of Rudyard Kipling is maintained, but this version adds some slight variations that give it its own entity and make it interesting.

Also noteworthy are the special effects, which are very good and very realistic and which make us understand and believe more in what is presented to us in the film.

La vinagreta y sus flores

Sí, lo sé, es la segunda vez que saco una flor de la vinagreta, pero es que es no pude resistirme a sacarles una fotos a estas sencillas, pero, al tiempo, hermosas flores.

Además, como el teatro, cada fotografía es distinta, nunca es la misma, porque, sencillamente, cada momento es diferente, porque todo cambia en el siguiente instante.

Sacas una foto ahora y tomas una foto al siguiente segundo y ya tienes otra foto. Quizás no lo percibas a simple vista, pero algo ha cambiado, como la luz, porque el sol ya no está en el mismo lugar, el paso de una nube que hace de pantalla semitrasparente, el vuelo de un pájaro, en fin, que el mundo que conocemos cambia a cada paso que damos.

Por esa razón tomé la fotografía porque el conjunto, luz, colores y flores, me pareció merecedor de inmortalizarlo, con que no lo pensé mucho.

Ya he comentado en otras ocasiones, que los creadores tenemos un visión del mundo distinta al resto de los mortales y no lo digo para presumir, sino constatar un hecho. Lo que para ti puede ser algo insignificante, para mí tiene un valor artístico que podré utilizar en cualquier momento.

Tú puedes pasear por la ciudad y solo ver gente y coches, en cambio los creadores vemos muchas más cosas, el detalle insignificante, la pequeña planta que se abre paso en una grieta del asfalto, la mariposa que se posa en tu sombrero, el descanso de un anciano frente al mar, el gato dormido en un tejado, la paloma que dormita en la arena de la playa, la huellas de la gaviotas en el cemento solidificado, el zapato perdido después de una noche de fiesta, etc.

Te hago una pregunta, ¿tú hubieras fotografiado este circuito imposible? Quizás sí o quizás no. Yo me detuve y lo hice. Saqué mi teléfono móvil, lo puse en modo paisaje y tomé la fotografía.

¿Por qué lo hice? Porque me parecía, en mi opinión, la imagen tenía un valor artístico, que su aparente caos de rectas y curvas, tenía un código lógico que le había dado el conductor del camión que limpió la playa de Las Canteras a primera hora de la mañana.

What have I seen on Netflix? Narcos: Mexico

OPINION

This week I finished watching the premiere of the new season of Narcos: Mexico on Netflix and I have to say that I liked it very much, improving, in some aspects, its predecessor Narcos: Colombia.

One of those important aspects is that the main actors are Mexican and of Mexican origin and that detail gives a special value to this new installment of Narcos, endowing it with its own personality and distinguishing it from previous installments of the series. This was one of the aspects that was criticized in Narcos: Colombia, that the main actors were not Colombians.

The truth is that the series begins with a slow rhythm, but this is a resource that the film director does on purpose, because, as the series advances, the rhythm increases vertiginously as the plot grows, which develops along with the main character, Miguel Angel Felix Gallardo who plays the Mexican actor Diego Luna.

In short, Narcos: Mexico has nothing to envy of its predecessor and is a worthy successor to this shocking series.

SYNOPSIS

This new issue of Narcos tells us how Miguel Ángel Félix Gallardo mounts, almost out of nowhere, the Guadalajara cartel, planting and distributing "mota", marijuana, and manages to unite all the small traffickers in the area with a common goal, with the connivance of the Mexican police.

However, the DEA follows him closely and agent Kiki Camarena, starring Michael Anthony Peña, does everything possible to end the Guadalajara cartel.
