¿Qué he visto en Netflix? Durante la tormenta

Fuente

Hymn of the Minerva

Source: own
In the month of March we celebrated the Memorial Manuel Cabrera regatta with which the official season of Canarian Latin Sailing was opened with the participation of seven of the twelve boats that are registered in this season. These were Minerva, Poet Tomás Morales, Puerto de la Luz, Pueblo Guanche, Villa de Agüimes, Guerra del Río and Estibadores Portuarios.
The memorial was won by the boat Poet Tomás Morales who imposed his best navigate in the second part of the course and from the beacon of the Castle of San Cristóbal began to take advantage over their pursuers.
Once the competition was over, the trophies were handed out, but before it was presented the anthem of the Minerva, the work of the composer Juan Carlos Sierra who has done a conscientious and magnificent job, leaving us with a hymn of which we are very proud.
If you want to hear it, there it is:

Not that I can feel the Minervista feelings, but the anthem contains all the elements that represents the Minerva, fruit of the work of the composer who drank from the sources we provided and knew how to summarize and fit them in an excellent way.

Viaje a la isla de La Palma

Fuente: propia

Your fire

Source: own
I'm already there and the faces are there too,
with the fire in your eyes that ended up burning me,
and almost blinded me,
for not wanting to control such intense love,
that it was an uncontrollable fire,
that I went up and razed my walls and my borders,
and that he made his way waving the flag of passion and lust.

Your fire burned me, but I didn't care;
I threw myself at it as if it were the freshest water,
and then licked my wounds in the corner of your memory,
like the wounded and beaten dog.

I came back and I knew your fire would devour me,
but I was throwing myself at your pyre,
I'd play with your flames and eat the embers of your bonfire,
until there were only your ashes left.

Now, I walk down the street and, from time to time,
I smell the smell of your fire and follow it, until I find you;
you in the center, with the flames on the ground;
They are throwing themselves to burn,
without caring about anything, just you and your fire.

What have I seen on Netflix? Triple frontier

OPINION

Last Sunday I saw Triple Frontier on Netflix and the truth is that I was expecting a film with a little more quality, after all the advertising that Netflix has done to publicize its premiere.
To tell the truth, the result was not entirely satisfactory, with a plot a thousand times repeated and with an outcome just as expected, with little or nothing that would propose you to keep an eye on the screen, because the film leaves many things by the way and one of them is expectation.

The UN warns us: the planet is at the limit

Source: own
The UN is quite clear and has put on the table what has been said for decades: either we change the way we live or the planet goes to shit in a few years' time.
We humans have always behaved like the mambo kings on the planet, importing very little of what was happening around us, exploiting, right and left, all the resources we had within our reach and even those we didn't have in our hands.
This over-exploitation of the natural environment is leading us into a dead end, a point of no return from which we cannot escape and which will lead to destruction sooner rather than later.
The UN, in its latest report presented in Nairobi, warns us of the dangers that threaten the human race, dangers that have not originated by spontaneous generation, but are the consequence of human activity. Problems such as global warming, overexploitation of food or plastics in the seas are directly related to the health indices of humanity.
We cannot wait any longer, the warnings are on the table. Governments must take drastic measures to stop the rampant deterioration of our planet, and citizens must push for governments to take the necessary measures to stop its destruction.
As the UN says, we have the technology and resources to make this world a more sustainable place, a place where we can live in tune with what surrounds us.
To change course is in our hand; to head for the seafood, as they say in my land, or for a better future for us and our children.

You're on your way.

Source: own

You're already neglecting souls,
those that are lost through the hidden holes,
looking for the absence of feeling,
to devour them and leave them in the desert.

You don't wait for the night, you just pick up the boxes of oblivion,
you search in them for weaknesses and mistakes,
the catches and the collections,
the guards for the uncertain future
and then you attack with nonsense weapons.

You don't care about pain, or crying, or grief,
all you care about is reaching your ultimate goal,
caresses and smiles, then throws the frozen claw,
and you comfort yourself in your lonely corner.

You've lost count. You don't care.
There you are, waiting for weakness and hopelessness,
you go out again without even thinking about it,
you follow the instinct they gave you.
since the beginning of time.

You have no remorse; it is your fate,
you just have to wait for the right moment,
you throw yourself without thinking, with your mouth open,
to take the last bite and feed your insatiable hunger.

You are not worth pursuing or even fighting,
in the end you know you'll be a winner,
that's why you're still here waiting for your next victim.
